ENTRY INTO THE COMPETITION
Entry into the My Food Story competition is open to Australian residents over the age of 13. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The management and employees of FlavourCrusader, organisations and companies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter.
The competition begins at 7:30am on 1 October 2014 and ends 11:59pm 19 October 2014 (AEST).
To enter and be eligible to win, entrants must submit photograph(s) either to FlavourCrusader’s Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #MyFoodStory.
Entries with defamatory, copyrighted or offensive content will be ineligible.
Selected entries will be shared on social media by Eat Happily, FlavourCrusader, Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance and Fair Food Week.
There are three prizes of total value AU $910. The prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
JUDGING AND AWARD OF PRIZES
The best entries — judged on the basis of impact, story and creativity — will be added to the finalists. From this list, our judges will decide the Best Produce and Best Dish. Chance plays no part in the selection of the prize winner.
All photos will be entered into Peoples’ Choice; the entry with the most votes wins.
The prize winners will be announced 26 October 2014.
Electronic communication (e.g. email or @reply) will be sent to notify the prize winner on the day of the winner announcement. If a prize winner cannot be contacted, or does not claim the prize within 7 days of the notifying electronic communication, then a new prize winner will be chosen.
