Event Description

Melbourne Farmers’ Markets are hosting a Fair Food Forum at our Coburg Farmers’ Market on Saturday 11 October. With an eye on Victoria’s forthcoming elections, we’ve invited local politicians to speak on agriculture, food security and a local food act. This is a prime opportunity to ask candidates where they stand on these subjects and more. Confirmed so far are:

  • Tim Read, Greens for Brunswick
  • Liam Farrelly, Greens for Pascoe Vale
  • Sean Brocklehurst, Socialist Alliance for Pascoe Vale
  • Dean O’Callahan, Save the Planet Party for Brunswick
  • Giuseppe Vellotti, Australian Liberal Party for Brunswick

Also attending are Peppertree Place and Climate Action Moreland.
