Event Description

Join Cultivating Community’s Kat Lavers in the Atherton Gardens community garden and community kitchen and learn to save money by reducing food waste and prepare delicious meals from your leftovers.

We’ll also delve into the magic of compost and learn all the secrets to successful composting at home to create rich, free fertiliser for your garden.

There’ll be plenty of freebies and a few prizes on offer, as well as a delicious morning tea to share.
