Event Description

Local Organics is teaming up with Fair Food Week to give you a behind the scenes look at what it’s like to be on the ground at an ethical food hub. In the spirit of the fair and transparent food system that we believe in, you’ll learn about our local Victorian farmers, discover some of the challenges faced by fair food pioneers and see our daily operation in action. One of our most knowledgeable team members will show you around and there’ll be plenty of chances to ask questions.

No need to book just come on in.

Tours will run at 8am, 10am, 4pm and 6pm.

Short description—organiser

Local Organics offers it's customers farmer direct vege boxes, our own pre-packed veg boxes, dairy  and dry goods either by delivery or collection as well as a community store open 3 days a week

Our produce is Organic, seasonal and local and we believe this focus gives us a deeper appreciation for nature's processes and allows us to broaden our values around food.

We support local  farmers by purchasing produce that might not make it through the conventional market due to irregular shapes and sizes, obscure varieties or minor damages.

No need to book just come on in.

Tours will run at 8am, 10am, 4pm and 6pm.
