Brisbane Fair Food Alliance

Short description—organiser

Brisbane Fair Food Alliance has it's origins in a community event convened by Drs Kiah Smith (UQ) and Carol Richards (QUT) at the Brisbane City Library in November 2016. The "Building a Fairer Food System: Community Symposium" was a sell out event, with a call for more action. From this initial meeting the Brisbane Fair Food Alliance was formed by a core group of people committed to a fair food future. "Moving Fair Food into the Future"  is BFFA's first public event.

Brisbane Fair Food Alliance Charter

The Brisbane Fair Food Alliance connects diverse people and organisations interested in building a sustainable and just food system. It provides a space for advocacy and action across the food system, supporting the growth of the fair food movement to enrich society, promote equity and facilitate change
