Event Description

The National Union of Workers (NUW) is running a campaign to end worker exploitation in the fresh food industry. Woolworths and Coles are in the business of driving down prices and thereby driving down the costs they pay to producers. This in turn means that producers cut wage costs. The NUW wants to see all farm workers paid properly.

On 14 October, the NUW is having the Anti Poverty Week event, Fluro Fightback. This year’s Fluro Fightback theme is Fair Food.

Come to Southern Cross Station at 8am on Wednesday 14th October and take action with us.
