Event Description

An introduction to grass based regenerative farming, at Providence Valley Farm, where you can really get in touch with your food.

Enjoy a guided walking tour around the farm, which will highlight the differences between grass based farming, and other methods.

See the environmental regeneration that is happening, and find out how carbon sequestration can work on a large scale. All while increasing production and reducing the threat from droughts or floods.

Have a chance to see and touch animals that are enjoying fresh air, sunshine and a fresh patch of grass every day.

Sit beside a tree lined creek, and enjoy a sausage sizzle made from food grown on the farm, and experience the taste of real food.

Be prepared to have your ideas challenged about how environmentally friendly a farm can be.

After your visit to Providence Valley Farm, head off to another open day at O’Reilly’s Orchard – an Organic Fresh Fruit and Vegetable farm in the heart of Wirrabara Forrest. Only half an hour away.
