The Eastland Farmers’ Market in Ringwood is run in partnership with Eastland. Held along Melbourne Street and Town Square, the market offers seasonal and organic fruit and vegetables, free range meats and eggs, honey, nuts, flowers and seedlings alongside a selection of artisanal products including cheeses, relishes, breads, jams and smallgoods.
The market has a primary focus on the Yarra Valley, showcasing the finest in regional produce. It is the first accredited farmers market in the region and is a place for the community to access fresh food direct from producers in the local area and enjoy regional Victoria right on their doorstep!
Also attending the market will be The Ripple Effect, which is an online intervention project designed to investigate what works to reduce the self-stigma (negative attitudes you have towards yourself) and perceived-stigma (negative attitudes you believe others have about you) among males from the farming community, aged 30-64 years, who have been bereaved by suicide, attempted suicide, cared for someone who attempted suicide, have had thoughts of suicide, or been touched by suicide in some other way.

Melbourne Farmers Markets is a not-for-profit social enterprise running eight exemplary farmers’ markets. Our farmers markets are dedicated to Victorian food and producers, regional food cultures, seasonal produce, biodiversity, sustainable farming practices and the strengthening of relationships between the consumer and the producer. You won’t find wholesalers or big businesses at our markets, just real food direct from the people who produce it.
