Event Description

A hands on Organic Gardening & Permaculture Workshop, near Forster on the mid north coast of NSW, just 3 hours north of Sydney.

Have you always wanted to grow your own fruit and vegetables but don’t know where to start? Or do you have an existing productive garden but want to learn more? Would you like to meet like minded people who share the same passion of growing organic produce in abundance? Then this workshop is for you! It’s all about growing food in abundance, a permaculture workshop.

The Spring into your garden workshop will guide you through the hands on and theory behind growing your own fresh produce. It’s fun and easy and you can go home and start growing your own vegetables with the knowledge you gain at this workshop!

About the teacher:

Megan Cooke is passionate about teaching people the benefits of growing their own food with over 22 years experience as a Horticulturalist. For the last ten years Megan has been on a sustainable journey with her family building a Solar Passive Rammed Earth Home and Permaculture gardens in the Sub Tropics.

Workshop: 9.30am – 12.30pm

  • 9.30am – 10.00am – Welcome & Introductions in our Rammed Earth Permaculture Education Centre
  • 10.00am – 12.00pm – Permaculture Garden Tour and Hands on session
  • 12.00pm – 12.30pm – Home made Morning Tea including a selection of Organic Tea & Coffee in our Rammed Earth Workshop Room
