Join Byron Hinterland Seed Savers and Byron Region Food Sovereignty Network for the Spring Sharing.
This local event supports both international and national campaigns promoting alternative farming approaches, new ways of shopping, and sustainable eating habits that all encourage consumers to use the soil beneath their feet and their purchasing power to make positive impacts on our society and the environment.
Bring: Any abundance of seeds, plants, tubers, produce you have to share & a plate of finger food.
Enter the Fair Food Spring Bake-Off – Free & Optional
Make something and include any of the four ingredients found in the Byron Region Food Sovereignty Network logo. (Citrus, Avocado, Macadamia, Banana). You will need to bring it on the day, and will be required to write and display your ingredients at the event. Judges will reward for taste, creativity, authenticity and enthusiasm.
Prizes include $100 Santos Organics gift voucher (1st), a Future Feeders Family Fresh Produce Box (2nd) and a 3 pack of Honey Bee Wraps. (3rd)
