Yarraville Food Swap

August 24, 2013

August 24, 2013

8:00 am To 10:00 am

Morven St, Yarraville

Event Description

To celebrate fair food week, we are holding the inaugural Morven St  food swap on Saturday 24th August, 2013.

Many Morven St residents have fruit trees, vegetable gardens and other fresh produce so if you have a surplus why not bring it down to the table at the end of the cul-de-sac and swap it for something else. If you don’t have fresh fruit or vegetable, don’t despair. We’re happy to swap eggs, seeds, bakery items, jams,  stories or anything else homemade!

All produce must be delivered to the tables between 8am- 9am, and the swap will commence after that, running for approximately one hour.

The exchange should be a fair reflection of what has been given i.e. eggs for lemons and seeds for stories.

Please bring your own reusable bags.

If it is a success, it will become a regular monthly event, so please come along!
